What is Reiki?
During a healing session, the Reiki practitioner uses a series of light touch or non-touch methods, guiding the flow of Reiki energy (universal life force energy) to promote healing, balance and well-being in the client it works on the physical body, the mind. emotions and spirit.
Reiki brings your body into a deep state of relaxation, recharges your energy and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and ready to get back to your life feeling more balanced and refreshed.
Your body does all the healing itself, but Reiki healing is what brings it into a state where it is able to heal itself much more efficiently.

The experience is deeply relaxing and peaceful, many people go into a deep meditative state or even fall asleep while receiving Reiki healing. It often feels like you are in the space between being awake and being asleep.
Some people can feel the Reiki energy as it is washing over them, it can feel tingly or warm.
Many people report noticing their thoughts quieting down when they are receiving Reiki on the top of their heads which helps them settle into a deeply relaxing state for the rest of their session.
Reiki healing is a form of energy healing which originated in Japan in the 1920's. It is a non-invasive, non-manipulative relaxation technique within complementary medicine.
The word “Reiki” combines two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning “universal,” and “Ki,” meaning “life energy”
